Measuring Your Telescope System

Enter your dimensions in millimeters. The page calculates the swing diameter Ø and the height H immediately. The drawing shows where the dimension you are editing is located.

The fields contain example values. As soon as you change a field, the remaining example values are removed.

Telescope distances from A

A is the reference point. On an equatorial mount it is the intersection of the right ascension and declination axes. The telescope must be fully equipped for this: camera, dew shield, finder, cables and counterweights.

Pier and height measured vertically

If the pier is not built yet, leave E, F and G empty. We will then set the pier height together.

Park position view from the front

Closing the roof in park position is possible with the AstroCube. This requires a park sensor.
